🔮 2025 PR Predictions: A Sneak Peek
Before we release our complete predictions report later this month, here's an exclusive look at what some of our brilliant community members are forecasting for the year ahead:
"The gap between marketing and PR is getting smaller and smaller, especially for in-house client-facing roles. Consumer press is still important, but brands looking to tell specific stories to potential clients will need to lean into B2B tactics like client entertaining, an investment in LinkedIn opportunities (especially video), and industry-related pod/vodcasts."
"Shared media opportunities are going to become just as sought after as earned media! While high-profile influencer relationships will have their place, we're heading towards the era of micro-influencers. Brands are going to start collaborating with everyday content creators who have smaller audiences; this is because a micro influencer's endorsement of a brand carries more weight with their following of close friends, family, and colleagues than, say, a celebrity whose post says #ad."
Stay tuned for additional predictions in next week’s special edition!

📊 PRowly's PR Trends & Predictions: The Inside Scoop
The numbers are in, and they're telling a fascinating story about where our industry is headed. According to PRowly's latest report, we're seeing major shifts in how PR pros are approaching strategy, partnerships, and measurement.
On Nurturing Strategic Partnerships: With 48% of respondents prioritizing strategic partnerships in their 2025 budget planning, our own Fatou shares this crucial insight:
Make Sure Your Brand Values Align — Examine a potential partner's real-world impact, not just their mission statement. Look at their media presence, crisis responses, and community involvement. Their actions during challenging moments often reveal their true character and values – look for transparency, accountability, and alignment with your client's/brands own core beliefs."
More Key Insights from Industry Leaders:
"Looking ahead, it's key for practitioners to integrate moments for thought leadership and find unique ways to extend the visibility of services and expertise in the field to increase workflows. There are many PR professionals exploring course development and educational resources across the field and AI has made the process so much more efficient."
"Transparent storytelling will be a dominant trend in 2025. Companies will feature real employees—frontline workers—sharing their personal experiences with the brand and celebrating individual roles in innovation and sustainability... In 2025, authentic CSR messaging will succeed by making frontline workers the protagonists of their stories, reflecting true, measurable impact."
